Walk Around Lake Minterwood

Lake Minterwood is a great place to walk or jog. Compared to many communities, our streets have relatively little traffic and provide a variety of walking routes and we have interesting scenery. Walking is great exercise, as any doctor, health or fitness person, or health magazine will tell you. By walking, you meet friends and neighbors and see what's going on in the neighborhood.

 Key Central Forest Trails

The Key Central Forest trail system managed by Key Pen Parks has a backdoor entrance from Lake Minterwood. This is located in our community from the cul-de-sac at the end of 113th St and is not available for public access. It is about a one mile walk to the two pedestrian bridges. Parking at the cul-de-sac requires your Parking Permit.
